Privacy Policy

Account information. Your name, email address and sign-in details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email address and profile picture) and nothing else from that sign-in.

Billing information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We store your plan, credit balance and a Stripe customer reference. Your full card number never reaches our servers.

Business content you provide. Your website address, descriptions of your business and ideal customer, knowledge items, AI persona settings, feedback on drafts, and the campaigns and prospects you create.

Connected mailbox data. When you connect Gmail or another mailbox (SMTP and IMAP), AudSpec sends the outreach emails and replies you approve, and checks your inbox for replies from your prospects. Emails from people who are not prospects in your campaigns are not stored. We store the emails AudSpec sends and the prospect replies it finds, so they appear in your inbox and conversation threads.

Prospect data. Business contact details of the people you target (such as name, job title, company, business email address and location), which we obtain from business-contact data providers when you search or reveal a contact, or which you add yourself.

Usage information. Basic technical and log data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) that is used to run, secure and improve the service.

• To provide AudSpec: research companies, find prospects, draft and send emails, read and triage prospect replies, and show your pipeline.
• To personalise the AI agent for your business using your knowledge, persona settings and feedback.
• To bill you, apply credits and plan limits, and prevent abuse.
• To provide support and send you service messages about your account.
• To keep the service secure and meet legal obligations.

If you connect a Google account, AudSpec only uses Gmail access to send emails you have approved (or set to send automatically) from your mailbox, and to read replies from your prospects so they can be shown, classified and answered in AudSpec.

AudSpec's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models, and people at AudSpec do not read it unless you ask us to (for example, for support), it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

You can disconnect your Google account at any time in Settings, or from your Google account's security settings.

AudSpec uses third-party AI models to research companies, draft emails and classify replies. The content needed for each task (for example, a prospect's reply and your product knowledge) is sent to the model provider to produce the result. We use these providers only to deliver AudSpec's features, not to train their general models on your data.

We don't sell personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run AudSpec for us: hosting and database (including Lovable, Supabase and Cloudflare), AI model providers, business-contact data providers, email delivery through the mailbox you connect, and Stripe for payments.
• Recipients you choose: the prospects you email through AudSpec.
• Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of AudSpec, our customers or others.
• Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with this policy continuing to apply.

When AudSpec customers use the service to contact prospects, the customer decides who is contacted and why, and is responsible for having a lawful basis to do so. AudSpec processes prospect data on the customer's behalf.

Every outreach email includes a way to opt out. Prospects who reply "unsubscribe" are automatically blocked from further emails from that customer. If you received an email sent through AudSpec and want your information removed, contact hello@audspec.io.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete data or close your account, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it for legal, tax or security reasons (for example, billing records).

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level data isolation between customer accounts. Mailbox passwords and connection keys are stored securely and are never shown back in the app. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly about any suspected misuse.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email hello@audspec.io. We will respond within the time the law requires. You can also disconnect mailboxes, delete campaigns and change your plan at any time in the app.

AudSpec and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

AudSpec is a business tool and isn't meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.
